I build websites for plumbers, HVAC companies, roofers and shops — the kind of site that loads fast on a phone, says what you do, and makes it easy to call you. You look at it before you spend anything. If it’s not right, you owe me nothing.
These are three sites built by the same generator that builds yours — different layout, different type, different colours, because they are different businesses. Open one on your phone.
These three are made-up businesses, built so there is something to look at without putting a real client’s site on a sales page. Yours is built from your business, not from one of these.
These aren’t extras that cost more. They are the conditions a page has to meet before I am willing to show it to you at all. Most of them are invisible when they are right, and expensive when they are wrong.
Nothing is hidden waiting for code to reveal it. If a script fails or loads slowly, your number and your services are still on the screen.
Every demo carries an instruction telling search engines to skip it, so it can never compete with your own site for your own name.
The notice at the top has no close button. Nobody can screenshot a placeholder and pass it off as a real business, me included.
If you never reply, it retires on a schedule. You shouldn’t have to ask anyone to delete something you never agreed to.
Your number is a real phone link, not text somebody has to select and copy, and it is always within reach.
Real icons instead of emoji, so they look the same on every phone and read properly to someone using a screen reader.
Light and dark are both designed. A lot of phones are set to dark permanently, and most cheap sites look broken on them.
If someone has asked their phone to reduce motion, the animation stops. Every link and field shows an outline when tabbed to.
Town names as readable text, not baked into a picture of a map, so a customer and a search engine can both read where you go.
Real reviews as text on your site. Sample reviews on an unfinished demo are labelled as written for the demo, because inventing them is a legal problem, not a design choice.
All the code lives in one place, which is what lets the site be locked down properly instead of left permanently loose.
Anything loaded from another server is fixed to an exact version and to a hash of its contents. If that file ever changes, the browser refuses to run it.
A short and deliberately boring list, each one checked for its licence, what it does on install, and whether the published package matches its public source.
Ordinary HTML and CSS on fast hosting. No page builder, no plugins, nothing that stops working when a subscription lapses. It is also why I can hand the whole thing over.
Every one of these is something you can check yourself. Open any of the three samples above on your phone, turn the wifi off, tab through it with a keyboard, or read the page source. If one of them fails, tell me and I’ll fix it.
The difference between them is how much is built from scratch for you. Every one is a one-time payment — there is no subscription unless you deliberately add one.
The site I already built, finished and handed over.
Card payment coming shortly
Designed around your business instead of adapted to it.
Card payment coming shortly
Built to get found, not just to look right.
Card payment coming shortly
Right now I send an invoice by email. Card, Apple Pay and Cash App Pay go live with card payment shortly. Prefer Venmo? Just ask — one-time payments only, since it can’t carry the monthly.
Paid search in the trades runs about $128 for a single lead — per lead, every month, for as long as the ads keep running. Launch costs about what 4 of those cost. Complete, about 14. Once.
That is a comparison of what things cost, not a promise about leads. I don’t know what your site will bring in and I am not going to guess — the number is there so the price has something to sit next to.
Most people don’t want to think about hosting, renewals or plugin updates. If that’s you, add this to any tier and I handle all of it.
Optional. Add it to any tier, cancel any time.

A real working site for your business, not a mock-up or a slide. Open it on your phone.
Wrong photos, wrong services, wrong hours, wrong colours. I fix it. Still costs nothing.
Card or bank transfer through Stripe. You get a proper invoice and receipt for your books.
Domain and site are registered to you. I hand you the logins and you’re not tied to me.
Not unless you choose Managed. Launch, Custom and Complete are one payment and that’s the end of it. Most web companies sell you a $99–$300 monthly plan and you stop owning the site the day you stop paying. That’s not how this works.
You do. Both are registered in your business name, and I hand over every login. If you want to move it somewhere else next year, you can, and you don’t need my permission or my help.
Then don’t buy it. That’s the whole reason I build it first. You’ve spent nothing and you’re under no obligation — and I’d rather hear a straight no than chase you.
Launch is usually live within two or three days of payment, because it’s already built. Custom takes about a week. Complete is one to two weeks, mostly waiting on photos and wording from you.
Partly, and I’d rather be honest about it. A good site is what people land on — but most trade work comes through Google Business Profile, maps and word of mouth. Launch and Custom connect your site to your Google profile properly. Complete goes further and sets up service-area pages and local listings, which is the part that actually affects whether you turn up in a search.
Because it’s one person, there’s no sales team, no account manager, and no monthly retainer to fund. I also built your site before asking you for anything, so there’s no pitching time to pay for either.
Yes — Stripe handles that at checkout on the Custom and Complete tiers. Same total, split up. Just pick the instalment option on the payment page.
Tell me what you do and roughly where you work, and I’ll tell you which tier I’d pick — including if that’s the cheapest one.
